Course Building Workshop

The course building workshop will help faculty prepare for the upcoming semester. This four-hour program will be offered before the start of the semester and will cover the following:
The importance of building positive affect
Writing objectives
Aligning assessments to objectives
Creating a syllabus
First week essentials

Course Reboot

The reboot program will help faculty update and/or redesign an existing course. This program will be offered in the summer and will cover the following:
Active learning
Alternative assessments
Back to the basics of writing objective to assessment

Innovative Teaching Ideas

The innovative teaching ideas program is designed to address “hot topics” in teaching and learning.

Learning Partners

The learning partners program will introduce faculty to student success team members for information sharing and collaborative discussions.
